Bharat Astro Veda

We are born when the Sun (representing the father, soul, spirit) and the Moon (mother, mind, emotion) come into a specific angular relationship in the sky. Technically, this is your Tithi.

“When the Sun and Moon embrace in the heavens, a soul is given form on Earth.”
Paramahansa Yogananda

The distance between the Sun and Moon at the time of your birth is not just astronomical — it is deeply psychological and karmic. It reveals:

  • The dynamic between your father and mother
  • The vibration into which your soul descended
  • The emotional imprint (bhava) that shaped your perception
  • And ultimately, the seed of your destiny

This is why Jyotish teaches that your birth chart is the frozen light of that moment — a cosmic snapshot of your karmic signature.

And once a year, the Sun and Moon return to exactly the same angular distance and same Sign as at your birth — this is your Solar-Lunar Bhava Return, a DNA reset point.

“Man is a fragment of the universe clothed in maya. Remembering his source is the beginning of liberation.”
Sri Ramana Maharshi

So each month — and especially once each year — when Sun and Moon are back to same relative position in the skies (same Tithi), you are invited to return inward…To reflect on:

  • Why did I take birth?
  • What is the nature of the tension or harmony between my inner masculine (Sun) and feminine (Moon)?
  • What patterns do I keep repeating?
  • What part of my karma is calling for resolution?
“Meditation is the art of remembering who you are, without effort, without mind, without time.”
